Carol (Riehle) Lattimer, 94, Wausau passed away peacefully on May 5, 2026, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital with family by her side.
She was born August 20, 1931, in Wausau, daughter of Carl Klimek and Dorothy (Klimek) Pabst.
Carol worked at American Can/James River Corp, and was the first woman supervisor on a production line, for the majority of her work career. She was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and watched all of the regular games, with her mother until she passed, and still continued to watch even with her failing eyesight. She loved the casinos and the game show network. She would never forget a birthday and would always make it a point to send a card.
Survivors include six children, Cassandra Nelson, Alan Riehle, Deborah Riehle, Cynthia Riehle, Gary (Tina) Riehle and Lori Oliva; sister, Catherine Klimek; brother, Robert (Nancy) Klimek; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Frederick Riehle, sisters, Barbara Schilling and Marcia Grisa, sons-in-law, Bruce Nelson and Frank Oliva, brothers-in-law, Anton Schilling and Wally Grisa.
Mother will be greatly missed by her family and all that knew her.
