Carol Ann Kraus

Carol Ann Kraus 61, of Hamburg, died peacefully in her home amongst her loving family on Thursday, June 30, 2005. She was born on May 18th, 1944 in Newburg, the daughter of the Margaret (Geib) Fahney and the late Carl Fahney. She was a graduate of West Bend High school. On May 1, 1965, she married Paul William Kraus. Carol was a teller for many years at the former Bank of Athens and the former Firstar. She was a dedicated gardener who shared her plants and garden wisdom with friends, family, and everyone who visited her home. Her gardens were some of the most beautiful and cared for in the area and are still cherished by friends and family. An accomplished horsewoman, she was an original member of the Wausaukee Horsemen's Club. Carol and Paul raised four wonderful children, Kim, Stacey, Amber and Dana. She is also survived by Margaret, Ruben, Joyce, Butch, Jerry, Judy, Jeff, Amy, Georgia, Josh, Spencer, Brooks, Francesca, and loving extended family and friends.
