Carol Ann Biel

Carol Ann Biel, 67, Rothschild, died Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at her home. She was born August 29, 1945 in Athens, daughter of the late Al and Isabella (Rux) Biel. Carol graduated from Wausau East High School in 1965 and then attended North Central Technical College. Carol retired in 2003 from the Marathon County Public Library after more than 33 years of service. Prior to working at the library she was a nurse's aide at the former St. Mary's Hospital, Wausau. Some of her favorite pastimes included traveling, camping, fishing, word search puzzles, reading the Bible and enjoying nature. She was also a volunteer at the library at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Weston. Survivors include her siblings, Mary (Stanley) Fenske, Weston, Don Biel, Wausau and Dennis (Catherine Lucca) Biel, Brentwood, California, four nieces and nephews and her special friends, Pat Schoonoven, Marion Schroers and Dale and Lynn Maszk . The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Weston. The Rev. Roy Witucki will preside. Burial will be in Rib Falls Methodist Cemetery, town of Rib Falls. Friends may call on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services all at the church.
