Carol Ann Behr

Carol A. Behr, 53, Wausau, died Monday, March 21, 2016 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born November 12, 1962 in Tomahawk, the daughter of Anna (Haisan) Clevenger of Wausau and the late Henry Clevenger. On September 6, 1985, she married John Behr in Wausau. He preceded her in death on October 29, 2004. Among her favorite pastimes, she enjoyed going to garage sales, shopping, gambling, listening to music and dancing. Most of all, she loved spoiling and spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include, two children, Kariann (Ron) Ploeger and Jerome Behr, both of Wausau; three grandchildren, Gabby, Dillan and Ethan Ploeger; her mother, Anna; two brothers, Joseph (Julia) Clevenger, Chicago and Tim Haring, Wausau; her special caregiver, Jean Matushak, Marathon; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial visitation will be held from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau.
