Carl A. Gotz

Carl A. Gotz 85, 6001 Alderson Street, Schofield, died Friday March 4, 2005 at Kennedy Park Medical and Rehabilitation Center. He was born June 26, 1919 in Park Falls, son of the late Charles and Anna (Hilgart) Gotz. On April 30, 1959 he married Lois Wells at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Butternut. She preceded him in death December 30, 2003. Carl and his wife Lois owned and operated the Coca-Cola Distributorship in Phillips prior to their retirement. Survivors include two sisters, Betty of Chilton and Phyllis of Medford as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents and wife, Lois, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dick and four sisters, Lillian, Lorene, Marie and Dorothy. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Saturday March 12, 2005 at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Wausau. Rev. Robert Thorn will preside. Entombment will be in Memorial Chapel Mausoleum, Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
