Capuchin Father Peter Hesse

Capuchin Father Peter Hesse, 86, died Thursday, Nov. 18, 2004, at St. Paul Villa, Kaukauna. A native of Wisconsin Rapids, Father Hesse had been a staff member at St. Anthony Retreat Center, Marathon, where his main ministry was to recovering alcoholics. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday November 23, 2004 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 700 Market Street, Marathon. Burial will be at the retreat center with dinner following. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Monday at St. Anthony Retreat Center, 300 Fourth Street, Marathon with a prayer service at 7pm. Memorials may be directed to St. Anthony Retreat Center.
