Camilla O. Konwinski
89, Wausau, died Tuesday, July 26, 2011 under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Harbor House, Rib Mountain.
She was born August 1, 1921 in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, daughter of the late Albert and Laura (Eidahl) Anderson. On March 5, 1943, she married William Konwinski in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death on January 10, 2006.
Among her favorite pastimes, she enjoyed crocheting, which was a lifelong hobby, playing cards and spending time up north at the family cottage on Bass Lake. She was a member of the Crafting Bees.
Survivors include, two daughters, Katherine LaPorte, Wausau and Laura (Forrest) Vaughan, Centennial, Colo.; one son, Gary (Nancy) Konwinski, Littleton, Colo.; five grandsons, Cameron (Jenn) Loos, San Diego, Cal., Joshua (Holly) Konwinski, Denver, Colo., Lucas (Rebecca) Konwinski, Littleton, Colo. and Andrew and Alex Vaughan, Centennial, Colo.; her only granddaughter, Courtney Loos, Madison; four great grandchildren, Bella and Brina Loos and Harlan and Kelly Konwinski; one great grandchild on the way; one brother, Robert (Shelby) Anderson, Madison and one sister, Lorraine Kososki, Niagara, Wis.
Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 5, 2011 at Zion Lutheran Church, Wausau. Rev. Steven Gjerde will officiate. Friends may call Friday from 9:30 a.m. until time of services at the church.
Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Zion Lutheran Church, Wausau.
