Bonnie M. Wenta

Bonnie M. Wenta, 83, died October 4, 2018 under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Hospice House, Wausau.

She was born September 12, 1935 in Wausau, daughter of the late Alfred and Bonnie Margaret (Faulkner) Geske.  She married Ronald Wenta who preceded her in death.

Bonnie worked as a CNA doing home care.  She was a people person and enjoyed playing the piano.

Survivors include her grandchildren, Sarah Albert, Ian Pierce, Halle Wenta; great-grandchildren, Emma and Noah Albert; sisters, Beverly Kasper and Clara Sue (Ron) Schilling; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husband, Ronald, she was preceded in death by two sons, Daniel and Steven Wenta, sister Barbara Geske, brother Jack Geske, sister-in-law, Alice Geske, brother-in-law, Ervin Kasper and daughter and son-in-law, Wendy (Dan) Pierce.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Highland Community Church on North 28th Avenue, Wausau.  Pastor Dave Mahler will officiate.  Friends may call on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
