Blong B. Yang

Blong B. Yang, 27, Wausau passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at his home.

Blong was born in Providence, RI on September 6, 1993 to parents Cher Nou Yang and Vathao Yang.

Blong was diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer just days before Thanksgiving this year. Blong was admitted to UW Health in Madison, WI on December 16th and released on December 20th to spend his final days at home with his family and friends.

Blong is survived by his father (Cher Nou), mother (Vathao), 3 brothers (Mong Kou, Kong Pheng, Ethan), 2 sisters (Baonhia & Meng Lor) (Katie), 2 nephews (Conner & Marshall), grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Blong enjoyed hanging out with his friends, fishing, and grilling for his family. He was kind, caring, loving, and compassionate to everyone especially his family. We will miss his goofy smile and personality.

We appreciate the immense amount of love and support we have gotten from our friends and family throughout this difficult time.

Visitation will be Friday, January 8, 2021 from 9-11 with service from 11:00-12:30 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Ave, Wausau.
