Blanche I. Stoltz
96, Wausau, died Monday, May 26, 2008 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
She was born March 1, 1912 in town of Easton, daughter to the late Earl and Ellen (Kennedy) Barden. On January 24, 1934 she married Henry Stoltz at St. James Catholic Church, Wausau. He preceded her in death on December 19, 1985.
Blanche was a homemaker. She was one of the founding members of the Church of the Holy Name of Jesus and was also a member of the St. Catherine's Council. In her spare time she enjoyed fishing and gardening, especially flowers.
Survivors include her son, Roger (Nancy) Stoltz, Wausau; daughter-in-law, Joanne Stoltz, Wausau; 14 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
Besides her parents and husband, Henry, she was preceded in death by two sons, Kenneth and Ronald Stoltz, a daughter, Geraldine Knetter, son-in-law, Raymond Knetter and three sisters, Alice Rozumalski, Marge Sattler and Eleanor Janikowski.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated 2:30 p.m. Thursday, May 29, 2008 at the Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, Wausau. The Rev. Gerald Pehler O.F.M. Cap. will preside. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Wausau. Friends may call Thursday from 1 p.m. until the time of services all at the church.
