Beverly A. Shidell
64, 1821 N. 4th Avenue, Wausau, died Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
She was born October 17, 1942 in Wausau, daughter of the late George and Mary (Fitch) Shidell.
Beverly worked as a kitchen assistant at the former Memorial Hospital from 1957 to 1970. She was also employed at Stone Crest Motel, Sambo's, Log Cabin and the kitchen at the former North Central Technical Institute. Beverly's favorite pastimes included dancing, biking, walking and watching all star wrestling. She also enjoyed listening to various types of music including polkas, rock and roll and country western but most of all Beverly loved talking on the phone with her friends and family.
Survivors include one sister, Charlotte (Stanley) Zyduck, Glenallen, MO., one brother, Chalmer (Mary) Shidell, Booneville, MS, and one brother-in-law, Jerome Fons, Tomahawk, along with many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by one sister Sally Fons.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 5, 2007 at Peace United Church of Christ, Schofield. The Rev. Larry E. Treece will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services all at the church.
