Betty E. Reissman

Theresa "Betty" E. (Kolokowski) Reissman 75, Mosinee, died Wednesday, October 27, 2010 in St. Petersburg, Florida. She was born October 6, 1935 in Wausau, daughter of the late Steven and Florence (Mullen) Kolokowski. For 35 years, Betty bartended at the Palms Supper Club, Schofield. She loved quilting with her friends and made numerous quilts for her family, along with custom made pillowcases. Among her favorite pastimes, she enjoyed cooking, spending her summers in Wausau and her winters in Florida, and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. Most of all, Betty loved spending time with her family and having lunch with her sisters every Thursday. She will be dearly missed by all her family and friends. Survivors include, one son, Lonnie Hamann, Wausau; two daughters, Terry (Randy) Hillman, Weston and Jody (Stuart) Gehrke, Merrill; eight grandchildren, Jason, Sarah, Lonnie Jr., Brittney (Jeff), Samuel, Stephanie (James), Brayden and Ryan (Devanie); three sisters, Carol Hettinga, Schofield, Charlotte (John) Fust, Wausau and Laurie (Wayne) Waldhart, Wausau; her extended family, Bill (Debbie) Schultz, Debbie (Bob) Hamm, Cindy (Swede) Sharkey and Gary (Mary Ann) Schultz; and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Steven Paul Reissman; one brother, James Merklein, one sister, Judy Merklein; and her special friend, Leroy Schultz. Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, Weston. Rev. Raymond Connor will officiate. Friends may call Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau is in charge of arrangements.
