Betty Ann Feigley, 84, Port Orange, Fla., formerly of Wausau, died Sunday, May 3, 2015 at the Port Orange Nursing Home in Florida.
She was born September 24, 1930 in the town of Rolling, Wis., daughter of the late Lawrence and Edna (Zwirschitz) Kalkofen. On October 2, 1948, she married Bernard Feigley at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Bowler.
Betty taught pre-school at the Rib Mountain Lutheran Church from August of 1981 until June of 1990. Among her favorite pastimes, she loved painting pictures, traveling and lived for the Florida sunshine. Betty was an avid Bridge player her entire life and followed in her mother's footsteps of playing solitaire for hours on end. She also enjoyed spending time at Runnings Campground in Sugar Camp, Wis., with her mother and family.
Survivors include, three sons, Andrew (Susan) Feigley, Signal Mountain, Tenn., Steven (Lisa) Feigley, Silver City, N.M. and Joseph Feigley, Madison; five grandchildren, Michael Feigley, Sterling, Alaska., Chad (Amy) Feigley, Chattanooga, Tenn., Bernard (Nicole) Graveen, Wausau, Daniel (Shannon) Graveen, Wausau and Amy (Jay) Scribner, Wausau; seven great-grandchildren, Samantha (Levi) Hopkins, Rossville, Ga., Cassie Feigley, Menasha, Emma Graveen, Wausau, Joseph Graveen, Wausau, Kennedy Scribner, Wausau, Morgan Scribner, Wausau and Jack Graveen, Wausau; and one sister, Arlyce (James) Bacon, Fayette, Ohio.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard, one daughter, Nancy Graveen; one son-in-law, Joseph Graveen; one daughter-in-law, Shirley Feigley; and one brother, James Kalkofen.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at Rib Mountain Lutheran Church. Vicar Tim Swanson will officiate. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Mattoon. Friends may call on Friday from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau and again on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the church.
