Bette Jane Koziel-Jacobs

Bette Jane Koziel Jacobs, 75, of Wausau passed away on October 17, 2017 at Aspirus Hospice House after her battle with pancreatic cancer. Bette was born and raised in Wausau, attending high school in both Wausau and Merrill. Upon graduating high school she attended college earning her degrees as a registered nurse and medical technician. Bette lived and worked for many years in the Minocqua area as a small business owner and for the former Lakeland Medical Associates LTD, now Marshfield Clinic. She moved to Mosinee in the late 1980's and in 1990 met Mike Jacobs at Mosinee Radiator and Auto, Bette was a customer and he was employed there. Survivors include her husband, Mike, Wausau; children, Todd (Katie) Rucinski, Arbor Vitae, Terri Jo Rucinski, Durham, North Carolina and Kipp (Lisa) Rucinski, Minocqua; grandsons, Patrick and Ryan Rucinski, Arbor Vitae. Bette is further survived by her sister, Carol (Richard) Treu, Wausau and brother, Leonard (Sharon) Koziel Jr., Mosinee, plus nephews, nieces and many loving friends. Bette was preceded in death by her father, Leonard Koziel and a sister, Susan Kay Koziel. At Bette's request no services will be held.
