Bernice C. Kulpinski

Bernice C. Kulpinski, 91, Wausau, died Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Colonial Manor, Wausau. She was born May 6, 1925 in Fenwood, daughter of the late Albert and Esther (Usadell) Wetterau. In 1948 she married Donald Kulpinski in Wausau. He preceded her in death. In her younger years, she enjoyed cross country skiing, golfing and spending time up North at their cottage on Lake Nokomis. She also enjoyed knitting, sewing, quilting and crafts. Above all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and family. Survivors include her children, Tom (Annie) Kulpinski, Vermont, Linda (Duane) Siegel, Wausau, and David (Janine) Kulpinski, Rothschild; grandchildren, Becky (Sean) Popelka, David (close friend Christy) Kulpinski and Jarod (Stacy) Kulpinski; step-grandchildren, Kelly Siegel, Carie (Dwaine) Compton and Angela Siegel; great-grandchildren, Noelle, Luke, Brandon, Shawn, Eli and Ethan; one brother, Arden (Faith) Wetterau, Nevada. Besides her parents and husband, Donald, she was preceded in death by a step-sister, Lorraine Hahn. Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at Grace United Church of Christ, 535 S. 3rd Avenue, Wausau. Rev. Julie Goranson will officiate. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services all at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau, is in charge of arrangements.
