Bernice L. Knapp

Bernice L. Knapp, 83, Wausau died Wednesday January 9, 2002 under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services Wausau Hospital. She was born December 10, 1918 in Stillwater, OK, daughter of the late Albert and Katherine (Lesticko) Nelson. On June 30, 1940, she married Edward F. Knapp in Antigo. He preceded her in death on June 16, 1995. Survivors include daughters Katherine Nelson, Wausau, Doris (John) Larsen, Wausau; sons John (Shirley) Knapp, Pelican Lake, Thomas (Paula) Knapp, Antigo; eight grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Private funeral services were Friday January 11, 2002 at Chapel Mausoleum Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. The Rev. Bernadette Bruner officiated. Entombment is in Chapel Mausoleum Restlawn Memorial Park. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau is in charge of arrangements.
