Belvia Mae Borth Debalske
84, Wausau, died Monday, May 12, 2008 at Mount View Care Center, Wausau.
She was born May 26, 1923 in Mosinee, daughter of the late Henry and Anna Borth. She was a graduate of Mosinee High School and upon graduation she joined the United States Air Force serving in India during World War II. On January 26, 1945 she married James Debalske in Wausau.
Bel was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed gardening, football and trips up North to their cabin. She was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
She is survived by her husband, James, Wausau; son, Dennis David Debalske, Wausau; daughter, Denise Diane (Steve) Konz, Sleepy Eye, Minn.; two grandchildren, Tracy (Tim) Zieska, Phoenix, Ariz. and Laurie (Neal) Van Winkle, Farmington, Minn.; three great grandchildren, Brandon, Tori and Jordon; three sisters, Verna Justesen, Wausau, Beulah Arnold, Mosinee and Ruby Sparby, Wausau.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Earl Borth, Ray Borth and Vern Borth.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 16, 2008 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call Thursday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. and again on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services all at the funeral home.
