Belva A. Kordus

Belva A. Kordus 81, Brokaw, died Sunday December 8, 2002 at the Hospice House, Wausau. She was born July 16, 1921 in Antigo. On May 29, 1940 she married Ervin P. Kordus at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wausau. He preceded her in death on February 15, 2001. Belva was a good cook, and also enjoyed reading and golf. Survivors include her children, JoAnn (Lawrence) Boehm, Marathon, Diane (George) Burger, Edgar and John (Thea) Kordus, Wausau, 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Besides her husband, Ervin, she was preceded in death by a brother and a sister. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday December 12, 2002 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 6th Street, Wausau. Entombment will be in the Christus Mausoleum, Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Thursday from 1 p.m. until the time of services at the Sixth Street funeral home.
