Belle J. Stein

Belle J. Stein 93, Stevens Point, a former Wausau and Arbor Vitae resident, died Saturday, July 1, 2006, at the Portage County Health Care Center, Stevens Point. She was born July 16, 1912 in Winneconne, daughter of the late Hans and Katherine (Stutzman) Jacobson. On September 2, 1929, she married Gilbert Stein in Waukegan, Ill. He preceded her in death on April 14, 1998. Survivors include, her son, Larry (Barbara) Stein; four granddaughters, Mindy (Dean) Schinnerer, Cindy (Doug) Hollmann, Tami (Martin) Rohr and Shelley (Michael) Hansen; two legal guardian grandchildren, Joseph (Colleen) Mitchell and Glenda Mitchell; ten great grandchildren, Lucas and Nathan Schinnerer, Tori and Lexi Hollmann, Kyle Rohr, Erika, Jessa, Greta, Nicholas and William Hansen. Besides her parents and husband, Gilbert, she was preceded in death by three brothers, William, Richard and Roy; and two sisters, Clara and Muriel. Memorial services will be noon Friday, July 7, 2006 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Rev. Joy Nelson-Jeffers will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau.
