Beatrice A. Golz

Beatrice A. Golz, 99, Wausau, died peacefully Sunday, October 29, 2017 with her family by her side. She was under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Sylvan Crossing on Evergreen, Wausau. She was born October 5, 1918, in Wausau, daughter of the late Eric and Lillian (Weber) Salzsieder. On October 14, 1939, she married the love of her life, John Golz in Wausau. He preceded her in death. Beatrice loved fishing, and spending time up North at their trailer on the Rainbow Flowage. She also enjoyed gardening, playing cards, dancing, sewing, and traveling with her husband. Above all she cherished time spent with her family including her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include her daughters, Joanne (Bill) Lewitzke, Geraldine (Norlan) Kowalski, Jane (Don) Seubert and Debbie (Tim) Johnson; grandchildren, Judy (Mark) Spear, Julie (Butch) Taylor, Jackie Dehnel, Gary (Kelly) Roloff, Kim (Lance) Brown, Jeremy "J" (Heidi) Roloff and Jenny (Jason) Shidell; great-grandchildren, Bryan Gaulke, Breann and Kati Beckman, Andrew, Landon, Allyson and Emma Dehnel, Joshua, Jordan and Cassondra Roloff, Conrad, Waylon and Spencer Roloff, Devon and Colten Brown. Besides her parents and husband, John, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Jim Roloff, great-granddaughter, Jodi Gaulke, and siblings, Hazel Block and Delores Lewitzke, and Myron and Dennis Salzsieder. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 3, 2017 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Rev. Jen Dahle of St. Stephens Lutheran Church will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and again on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services all at the Sixth Street funeral home. There will be a 7:30 p.m. prayer service on Thursday evening at the funeral home. The family would like to thank the compassionate caregivers at Sylvan Crossings for their love and care of Bea.
