Barbara M. Weiler

Barbara M. Weiler 53, Athens, died Monday, March 18, 2002 at Community Health Care at Wausau Hospital. She was born May 16, 1948 in Brussels, daughter of Evelyn (Henrichs) Mullins, Athens and the late Joseph Mullins. On May 16, 1970, she married David Weiler at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Athens. He survives. Barbara was a home interior decorator for 15 years and enjoyed growing flowers, planting her garden and going up north with her family. She will always be remembered for living life to the fullest but she will miss her grandson, Colten, which was the apple of her eye. Survivors besides her husband, David, Athens and her mother, Evelyn, include two daughters, Kim Weiler and Andrea Weiler both of Athens; one son, Keith (Tiffany Bergman) Weiler, Athens; one grandson, Colten; two brothers, Randall "Bo" Mullins, Athens and Duane "Dean" Mullins, Rhinelander. The funeral mass will be celebrated 11:30 a.m. Thursday, March 21, 2002 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Athens. Rev. Charles Hiebl will preside. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Athens. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Athens and again from 10:30 a.m. Thursday until the time of services at the church. There will be a 7:30 p.m. parish vigil Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
