Barbara "Barb" Viergutz

Barbara "Barb" J. Viergutz, age 60, died Sunday, August 11, 2013 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born March 20, 1953 in Wausau, daughter of the late Louis and Ella (Johnson) Miller. On March 25, 1972 she married John Viergutz in Wausau. He survives. Barb worked for Good Will Industries and in her free time enjoyed watching the birds, bringing smiles to others faces and spending time with her grandchildren. She collected angels and was always willing to help others. Survivors include her husband, John, Mosinee; children, David Viergutz, Winnebago, Lee Viergutz, Mosinee and Brenda (Jeremy) Grubb, Merrill; grandchildren, Elijah and Sawyer; sisters, Shirley (David) Derby, Wausau, Jean (Larry) Seidler, Schofield, Gloria (Ken) Hammock, Alaska, Lori (Rudy Jr.) Suchy, Phillips, Judy (Pete) Paulus, Phillips, and Rose (Darryl) Schuh, Michigan; many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Cecilia, a sister, Linda Kraus, and a brother-in-law, Peter Scheidemann. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 15, 2013 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Rev. Joy Nelson-Jeffers will officiate. Friends may call Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services all at the Sixth Street funeral home.
