Barbara S. Cleveland

Barbara S. Cleveland 70, Rothschild, passed away on her mother's birthday on Monday, July 11, 2011 at Ministry Saint Clare's Hospital, Weston, with her family by her side. She was born September 7, 1940 in Wausau, daughter of the late John Sr. and Marjorie (Gaedtke) Kroening. On January 17, 1984, she married Howard Cleveland in Wausau. He survives. Among Barbara's favorite pastimes, she enjoyed gardening, crocheting, knitting, cooking, fishing, boating and holiday parties. She also enjoyed spending time at the family cottage up north and loved bird watching. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. Survivors include her husband, Howard, Rothschild; five children, Terrie (Patrick) Bresnahan, Stevens Point, Linda (Robert) Zorman, Edgar, Diana (Kurt) Stoeger, Woodruff, Steven (Kathleen) Montay, Cumming, Ga. and Chad Kroening, Port Washington; two step-children, Carla (Paul) Meyers, Mosinee and Todd Cleveland, Wausau; 17 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; five siblings, Jim (Mary Lou) Kroening, Rhinelander, Judy (Dave) Paul, Wausau, Clifford (Vicky) Kroening, Schofield, Katie (Alan) Hoffman, New London and Cindy Westman, Coon Rapids, Minn.; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four siblings, Ellen Colaluca, Beth Hohensee, John Kroening Jr. and Lois Jacobs.
