Audrey Veronica Roth

Audrey V. Roth 90, a former Schofield resident, died Wednesday December 25, 2002 at Mount View Care Center, Wausau. She was born June 9, 1912 in Wausau, daughter of the late Edward and Della (Bushar) Paquin. She married Victor Platta in 1944. He preceded her in death in 1953. She married Henry Roth in 1960. He preceded her in death in 1968. Audrey graduated from Wausau High School in 1930 and attended Marathon County Normal School, then taught at the Pike Lake School. She enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, yardwork, embroidery and fancy work. She was also a member of the 'STARS' at St. Agnes Parish. Survivors include three step-daughters, Martha Westberg, Wausau, Edith Buss, Sun City, Ariz., and Ramona Geiger, Stoughton, step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, neighbors and friends, Carolyn & Jack Jacobson, Paul & Judy Majerle, Joan & Donald McCumber, all of Schofield, Irene Ryan and Irene Schmidt, both of Weston. The funeral mass will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Saturday December 28, 2002 at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Callon. Rev. Joseph Rafacz will preside. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Sat. from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 6th St., Wausau, is in charge of arrangements.
