Audrey M. Reetz, 82, Kronenwetter, died Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at North Central Health Care Facility, Wausau. She was born July 17, 1931 in Wausau, daughter of the late Jacob and Gertrude (Denfeld) Heybl. On September 15, 1951, she married Charles Reetz in Pine City, MN. He preceded her in death on July 24, 1989. Audrey worked for the Wausau Insurance Company as an Assistant Forms Administrator from 1951 until her retirement in 1991. She was an active member of St. Mark Catholic Church in Rothschild for many years, and a member of the Catholic Women's Club and the Catholic Daughters. Among her favorite pastimes, she enjoyed bowling, playing cards and traveling with her "best friend" and sister, Betty. Audrey was very passionate about donating blood in Marathon County. She received awards for her generosity and was often recognized by the Blood Bank. Survivors include, three sisters, Betty Howe, Wausau, Cecilia (Kenneth) Pazdernik, Rhinelander and Sister Laurice Heybl FSPA, LaCrosse; two sisters in-law, Pat Heybl, California and Ruth Reetz, Rothschild; many nieces and nephews, Betty's family, Jean (Joe) Rader, Wausau and Barbara (Roy) Aschbrenner, Athens; Cecilia's family, Mike (Mary) Pazdernik, Rhinelander, Peggy (Lynn) Haker, Madison, Pat (Mary Beth) Pazdernik, North Carolina, Ken (Pam) Pazdernik, Ellsworth, Jayne Scott, Madison, Perry (Kelley) Pazdernik, Stevens Point, Greg Pazdernik, Minnesota, Jerry (Debbie) Pazdernik, Illinois, Annette (Steve) Heimerl, Madison and Gary (Maria) Pazdernik, Ellsworth; Jack's family who are all from California, Laurie (Jeff) Tamura, Brenda (Chris) Sneiderhan, Shawn Heyl, Jay (Jill) Heybl, Randy (Susan) Heybl, Cindy (Larry) Percz and Debby (Brett) Keshtkar; and her extended family, Don and Ruth Suchomski of Kronenwetter and their sons, Daniel and Michael. Besides her parents and husband, Charles, she was preceded in death by one brother, Jack Heybl. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Noon on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Wausau. Rev. Robert Thorn will preside. Friends may call on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the church. Burial will be on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Noel Sonnek for her kindness and patience and also the staff at North Central Health Care-Garden Side Crossing for the loving care and concern for Audrey over the past couple of months.
