Arthur A. Ryan

Arthur A. Ryan 83, Weston, died Sunday, May 16, 2010 at St. Clare's Hospital, Weston. He was born April 11, 1927 in Wausau, son of the late John and Frieda Ryan. On October 18, 1958 he married Rose Mary Rhyner at the Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, Wausau. She preceded him in death on January 5, 2003. Arthur worked at Weyerhaeuser for many years and enjoyed NASCAR and the Packers. Survivors include his two daughters, Colleen Ryan, Weston and Noreen (Greg) Kujawa, Wisconsin Rapids; one brother, Jim (Sandra) Ryan, Weston; two sisters-in-law, Sandra Ryan, Rothschild and Jean Rhyner, Wausau; other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by three brothers, John, Clarence and Lawrence Ryan and three sisters, Betty Wolfe, Mary Mortenson and Eleanor Ryan. The funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday, May 20, 2010 at St. Therese Catholic Church, Rothschild. The Rev. Janusz Kowalski will preside. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau.
