Arthur B. Moore

Arthur B. Moore 54, 607 1/2 Prospect Avenue, Wausau died Friday, March 7, 2008 at his home. He was born December 15, 1953 in Wausau, son of the late Russell E. and Peggy (O'Brine) Moore. Any death is a sad occasion, but our brother Arthur's un-expected passing has struck his family and friends with a tremendous blow. Arthur was an extremely unique person. His passions were few but they were his life. We are all Packers fans but Arthur took collecting Packer memorabilia to an extreme, the like of which few of us could ever imagine. So also was his love of Mickey Mouse, all types of music, with as varied a collection of movies and lastly his passion and commitment for photography. His jobs changed with the years but none seemed to please him more than being a maintenance man. The death of our dad, six months earlier played heavily on Arthur, so sensitive was he about being without him. Arthur was as complicated as he could be naive, the combination making for a quirky personality. He died as quietly as he lived, at home surrounded by his vast and varied collections of the Packers, Mickey Mouse, his music, movies and his photos. We pray he has found peace in his heart and mind, that of which seemed to escape him here on earth and that his soul is with God and maybe just a few Packers players who have passed before him. Survivors include his son David Biesel, Milwaukee, his siblings, Floyd (Kathlyne) Moore, Weston, Bobette Brunia, Tampa and Nanette O'Brine, Delray Beach, Flordia. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Moore. Memorial services will be held 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau.
