Arthur F. Guralski, 84, Wausau died Monday, January 12, 2015 at his home.
He was born October 10, 1930 in the town of Rietbrock, son of the late Walter and Clara (Wojciechowski) Guralski. On June 18, 1952 he married Annabelle Havlovick at St. Mary Catholic Church, Marathon.
Arthur retired from James River Corporation after 39 A½ years of service. He was a member of the St. Anne Dartball Team, the American Legion Golf League, Third Degree Knights of Columbus, George Schreier Council, #1069, Wausau and he also was an active volunteer wherever he was needed at St. Anne Parish.
Arthur also enjoyed golfing, fishing and "tinkering with his projects." When the weather was good Arthur could be found outside doing yard work and tending to his flower beds. His positive attitude made the time he spent with people happy times. He was proud of his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and all of their accomplishments.
Survivors include his wife Annabelle Guralski, Wausau his children, Susan Schroeder, Neenah, Virgil (Jane) Guralski, Wauwatosa and Nancy (Kevin) Kieffer, Wausau, seven grandchildren, Jeffrey Schroeder, Laura (Christopher) Schneider; SarahJane Guralski, Amanda Guralski, Ashley (Chad) Smith; Emily (Justin) Bates and Katie (Bryan Varga) Kieffer, five great grandchildren, Leighton, Louis and Lincoln Smith and James and Evie Bates. Arthur is further survived by his siblings, Ervin Guralski, Marshfield, Raymond (Stacie) Guralski, Edgar, Robert (Alice) Guralski, Abbotsford, Dolores Gajewski, Edgar, Walter (Gertie) Guralski, Athens, Joan (Norman) Soczka, Edgar, Violet (Zane) Farkas, Wausau, Lucille (Jim) Kleparski, Marathon and Barbara Diers, Athens and many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Janet Steder and Agnes Guralski.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Noon, Friday, January 16, 2015 at The Church of St. Anne, Wausau. The Rev. Alan Burkhardt will preside. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Thursday from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau and again on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church. There will be a parish vigil service Thursday evening at 6:15 p.m. at the Sixth Street funeral home.
