Arnold "Arnie" Hall
76, 1211 S. 12th Avenue, Wausau, died Sunday, October 3, 2004, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services.
He was born October 12, 1927 in the town of Cassel, son of the late Leonard and Josephine (Mucha) Hall. On July 4, 1957 he married Rosita J. Newman at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Halder. She preceded him in death on January 3, 1991.
A proud veteran of the US Army, Arnie served from 1952 until 1954 and was a member of the American Legion, Montgomery Plant Post #10, Wausau.
Arnie graduated from Edgar High School in 1946. Prior to his retirement in 1993, Arnie worked at Wausau Metals Corp. and also repaired TV's and radios. Among his favorite enjoyments were, polkas, bowling, golfing, pool, horseshoes and dartball. Arnie was very active in his parish, Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. After his retirement, Arnie took a few computer classes and enjoyed playing around on the computer, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.
Survivors include his four daughters, Christine Hall, Wausau, Donna Steffen, Wausau, Gloria (Dave)Wrycha, Sobieski and Charlene Hall, Schofield, a special friend, Gladys Johnson. eight grandchildren, Jaime Hall, Amy Grunenwald, Andrea Grunenwald, Robert, Jason, Jessica Steffen, Jon (Dawn) Wrycha and Matt Wrycha, four great grandchildren, Damion, Alexis, Malya and Skyler, one sister, Marcella Thurs, Edgar, three brothers, Michael (Dorinda) Hall, Marathon, Victor (Jeanette) Hall, Edgar, Wilfred (Ruth) Hall, Edgar, one sister-in-law, Nora Hall along with many nieces, nephews and many other relatives.
Besides his parents and wife, Arnie was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters-in-law; Julius Hall, Leonard and Lou Hall, Walter and Mary Hall, Alexander Hall, his sister and brother-in-law, Juanita and George Schmidt and a brother-in-law, Tony Thurs Sr.
The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Thursday October 7, 2004 at the Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, Wausau. Rev. Joseph Gyim-Austin will preside. Entombment will be in Memorial Chapel Mausoleum, Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Weds. from 4 - 8 p.m. at the Church of the Holy Name of Jesus and again on Thurs. from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church. There will be a parish rosary service Weds. evening at the church.

Arnie was a "little guy" with a "huge heart" and will be missed by all whose lives he touched.
