Arnold J. Bungert

Arnold J. Bungert 77, Schofield, died Friday, January 7, 2005 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was born March 26, 1927 in Stevens Point, son of the late John and Manie (Webie) Bungert. On August 19, 1954, he married Dorothy Strysik in Chicago. She preceded him in death on July 14, 1993. Arnold was a veteran of US Army Air Force and a member of the American Legion Montgomery Plant Post #10, Wausau. He worked as a security guard for many years. Survivors include one son, Richard Bungert, Schofield; two grandchildren; one step son, James (Susan) Jerzak, Hooksett, N.H.; two step daughters, Rose (Wayne) Soffa, Wheatfield, Ind. and Donna (George) Pair, Indian Mound, Tenn.; two sisters, Irene Walters, Milwaukee and Mary Stockfish, West Allis; one brother, Leonard (Lillian) Bungert, Florida.
