Armella D. Sikorski

Armella D. Sikorski 89, formerly of Wausau, died Friday September 16, 2005 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, 9663 Manitou Court, Minocqua, Wis. She was born December 3, 1915 in the town of Easton, daughter of the late Fred and Margaret (Damitz) Burgoyne. In 1937, Armella married Engelbert Egle. They were married for 15 years. After the death of her first husband, she married Leonard Sikorski in 1961. Leonard preceded her in death in 2003. Among her favorite things to do were playing cards, gardening, fishing, traveling, and visiting with friends and family. Survivors include her daughters, Carol (John) Jalinski, Minocqua, Linda (Gerald) Skilling, Mosinee, 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren. Besides her husbands, Armella was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Kenneth Egle, four sisters and four brothers. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday September 20, 2005 at the Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, Wausau. Burial will be St. Joseph Cemetery, Wausau. Friends may call on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau, is in charge of arrangements.
