Arlene M. Sischo

Arlene M. Sischo 82, 6001 Alderson St., Weston, died Thursday August 23, 2001 under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Community Health Care Wausau Hospital. She was born Novemeber 24, 1918 in Wausau, daughter of the late Arnold and Margaret (Zastrow) Seiler. On July 2, 1938 she married Merrill A. Sischo in Wausau. He preceded her in death in 1972. Prior to her retirement Arlene had been employed at J.C. Penney's as a Senior Merchandise Manager. She was a member of the Franklin High School Fun Band, the White Shrine of Jerusalem and the American Association of Retired Persons. Survivors include 1 son, Merrill A. (Brenda) Sischo III, Madison; 1 daughter, Sharon A. (Gerald) Feathers, Ringle; 3 grandchildren, Tim (Renee) Feathers, Weston, Jeff (Pam) Sischo, Oak Creek, and Sarah (Mark) McGuire,Madison; 6 great grandchildren, Ryan Feathers, Kendra Feathers, Madeline McGuire, Caitlin McGuire, Jordan Sischo, Andrew Sischo; 3 brothers, Dan (Betty) Seiler, Woodruff, John (Penny) Seiler, Weston and Ken (Sylvia) Seiler, Wausau; 2 sisters, Jeannie (Ray) Zastrow and Bonnie (Bob) Pils all of Weston. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 1 grandson, John William Feathers. Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Monday, August 27, 2001 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 6th St., Wausau. Rev. Bernadette Bruner will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Monday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services at the 6th St. funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may directed to the charity of your choice.
