Arlene Matilda Mroczenski

Arlene M. Mroczenski, 78, quietly passed away on July 17, 2002, under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Community Health Care Wausau Hospital. Arlene was born June 12, 1924 in Athens, daughter of the late William and Matilda (Mader) Hardt. On June 12, 1947 she married John Mroczenski, Jr. in Athens. He preceded her in death Friday, July 12, 2002. Arlene worked for a short time at Wausau Hospital. She dedicated her whole life to her husband, children and grandchildren. Arlene enjoyed reading all types of literature. Survivors include her children, Jean (Larry) Rothmeyer, Steven (Annette) Mroczenski, Richard (Wendy) Mroczenski, Karen (Roger) Schenzel, Jeff (Laura) Mroczenski, Brad Mroczenski, all of Wausau; grandchildren, Gary, Curt, Ami, Jordyn, Kirsten, Dylan and Madison Mroczenski, Cory Rothmeyer and Melody Schenzel; two brothers, Arnold Hardt, Eugene Hardt both of Athens; four sisters, Carmen (Bennie) Myszka, Edgar, Patricia (Peter) Letarski, Athens, Delores (George) Schneider, Stratford, Helen (Joe) Orlando, Illinois. Besides her husband John and her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Martin Hardt and two sisters, Della Hanke, Caroline Uerling. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 20, 2002, at The Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, Wausau. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call from 8:30 a.m. Saturday until the time of services at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau, is in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, Wausau.
