Arlene C. Klinger

Arlene C. Klinger 86, Wausau, died Monday, January 23, 2012 at Mount View Care Center, Wausau. She was born July 17, 1925 in Rib Falls, daughter of the late Julius and Mathilda (Hoffmann) Kraft. On October 27, 1943 she married Reuben Klinger at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, Rib Falls. He preceded her in death on August 28, 2007. Arlene and her husband owned and operated Klinger's Bar in Rib Falls for many years. She was a very social, outgoing person who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Active in her church she enjoyed going on trips and attending bible study. Arlene loved to collect things, especially angels, clowns and more recently stuffed animals. Survivors include her son, Don (Lynn) Klinger, Neenah; grandson, Brian (Kaye) Klinger, Neenah, granddaughter, Jennifer (Gaylen) Haas, Appleton; great-grandchildren, Ava and Clara Klinger and Briella Haas; and other relative and friends. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband and daughter, Sue Ellen. Funeral services will be 11a.m. Friday, January 27, 2012 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Wausau. The Rev. Joel Brandt will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call Thursday from 4 - 8p.m. at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth St., Wausau and again on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
