Arlene J. Buzinski

Arlene J. Buzinski, 85, Wausau, died Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Wausau Manor Nursing Home, under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services. She was born January 1, 1931 in the town of Maine, daughter of the late Albert and Florence (Mueller) Luepke. On March 15, 1958, she married Victor "Vic" D. Buzinski in Waubasha, Minnesota. He preceded her in death on August 23, 2011. Arlene enjoyed being a homemaker and was a longtime member of Zion Lutheran Church, Wausau. For many years, she worked alongside her daughter, Cheryl, at Cheryl's Framing and Gallery in downtown Wausau. Survivors include two children, Bruce (Kathy) Kleinschmidt, Helena, Montana and Cheryl (Charles) Gassner, Wausau; four grandchildren, Shannon (Seth) Lancaster, Craig Zaleski, Tracey (Scott) Schneider and Sonja (Jose) Vargas; 12 great-grandchildren; one son-in-law, Alan Zaleski, Stratford; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Mary Buzinski, Greenwood, Wisconsin, Gordie (Carol) Buzinski, Rothschild and Joyce (Norm) Howe, Wausau; and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Vic, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Susan Zaleski; and one sister, Dolores Hoffman. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 12, 2016 at Zion Lutheran Church, Wausau. Rev. Steven Gjerde will officiate. Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery, town of Maine. Friends may call on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until time of services at the church.
