Ardus Jane Schoepke

Ardus Jane Beckman (Stone) Schoepke, age 92, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2026, surrounded by love. She lived a long, full life marked by devotion to her family, kindness to others and a quiet strength.

Born on July 30, 1933 in Wausau, WI, she was the daughter of Henry and Mary Beckman. Throughout her life, she was known for her warm heart and unwavering love for those around her.

She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and her family was the center of her world. She took pride in caring for those she loved and she was always there with encouragement, wisdom and a listening ear.

She is survived by her five children: Jamie Mancini (Mark), Terry Stone, Patrick Stone (Cindy), Mark Stone (Donna) and Tracy Stone, three stepchildren: Beth Kaziak (John), Tammy Schoepke and Wes Schoepke (Jane), sisters Jane Robbins and Roxie Krueger (Jim), twelve grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and many extended family members and friends who will miss her deeply. She was preceded in death by husbands Patrick Stone and Wayne Schoepke and sister Jeanette Schullo.

The family extends sincere gratitude to Aspirus Wausau Hospital, caregivers and nursing staff for their compassionate care.

A private celebration of life will be held. In lieu of flowers and because of her love of animals, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Marathon County.

She leaves a lasting legacy of love and grace in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
