Arden W. Wolf

Arden W. Wolf 71, E19552 County Highway N, Ringle, died Saturday September 14, 2002 at his home. He was born January 30, 1931 in Oshkosh, son of the late Martin and Rosiland (Pritz) Wolf. On December 31, 1958, he married Harriet 'Pearl' White in Newport, Rhode Island. She survives. From 1950 until 1954 he served in the US Air Force and from 1956 until the time of his retirement in 1972 he served in the U.S. Navy. The time of his military career spanned the Korean Conflict and the VietNam War. Arden enjoyed gardening, feeding the birds, pheasants and wild turkeys. Survivors include his wife, Harriet 'Pearl' Wolf, Ringle, three children, Karl (Karen) Wolf, Ringle, Jill Wolf, Ringle and Dawn (Bruce) Harker, Rhinelander, five grandchildren, Lisa Wolf, Jason Wolf, Elizabeth Wolf, Haley and Chelsea Harker, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Marlyn Sitter. Memorial services will be 4:30 p.m. Monday September 16, 2002 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Rev. Stephen Russell will officiate. Friends may call from 3:30 p.m. until the time of services at the Sixth Street funeral home. He will be sadly missed by his wife, children and grandchildren.
