Ardell Ruth Rajek

Ardell Ruth Rajek 64, Edgar, died Saturday, June 2, 2007 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born May 12, 1943 in Wausau, daughter of Hildegard (Bielke) Dehnel and the late George Dehnel. On October 7, 1961, she married Robert Rajek at Trinity Lutheran Church, town of Stettin. He survives. Ardell farmed with her husband in the town of Cassel for many years and was an excellent cook and homemaker. Whenever there was an occasion for Ardell to entertain family and friends at her home, she did with much planning in advance. Among her greatest joys, was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Robert Rajek, Edgar; two children, Robert Jr. "Butch" (Mari Beth) Rajek, Stanley, Wis. and Robin (Todd) Holbach, Edgar; her mother, Hildegard Dehnel, Marathon; six grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; five step-great grandchildren; one sister, Donna Behnke, Edgar; three brothers, LeRoy (Sharon) Dehnel, Marathon, Edward Dehnel, Wausau and Robert Dehnel, Marathon; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 7, 2007 at St. Stephen Ev. Lutheran Church, Edgar. Rev. LaDonna Ekern will officiate. Burial will be in the Edgar Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Edgar and again Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the church.
