Anton Golob

Anton Golob 82, Minocqua, formerly of Milwaukee, died Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was born October 30, 1924 in Draper, Wis. son of the late Anton and Anna (Miklovzina) Golob. On May 27, 1950 he married Lois Koepp in Milwaukee. She survives. Anton worked as a police officer for the city of Milwaukee and served his country in the United States Army during World War II. Survivors include his wife, Lois, Minocqua; daughter, Virginia Jaranowski (nee Golob), Tulsa, Okla.; grandchildren, Ali, Tulsa, Okla., Kelly, East Troy, Wis. and Jamie, Laguna Beach, Calif.; great grandchildren, Alexandra, Emily and Gatlin.
