Anthony F. Doyle
73, Wausau, died Saturday August 27, 2011 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
He was born January 13, 1938, in Wauwatosa, son of the late Bernard and Emily (Wanta) Doyle. On February 7, 1959, he married Mary Parcelewicz at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, Milwaukee. She survives.
Prior to his retirement, Anthony served as Vice President of Great Midwest Bank, Brookfield. Anthony was a people person and enjoyed engaging in conversation and banter of all types with friends and those yet to be made friends. His family came first in all things and he possessed a great love of the outdoors, especially his pastimes of hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Holy Name Society at St. Mary Roman Catholic Oratory, Wausau and served as president of the Waukesha County Council for Alcohol and Drug Abuse.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Doyle, Wausau, five children, Anthony (Nancy) Doyle, Erin, Wisc., Daniel Doyle, Brownsville, Wisc., Colleen (Thomas) Hale, Wausau, James (Debbie) Doyle, Pewaukee, John (Kelly) Doyle, Greendale, Wisc., grandchildren, Margaret Mary Doyle & Anthony F. Doyle Jr.; Kelsey & Keely Doyle; Shannon (Justin) Grabko, Jacob (Amanda) Hale, Peter & Andrew Hale; Amanda, Jimmy & Joshua Doyle; Christopher, Victoria, Norah & William Doyle; great-grandchildren, Ethan, Aidan, Parker & Bentley Hale; Samuel, Max and Isabela Grabko; one brother, Michael J. (Carol) Doyle, Brookfield, one brother-in-law, Jay Binsfeld, Scottsdale, Ariz., and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Pat Binsfeld.
The Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday September 6, 2011 at St. Mary Roman Catholic Oratory, Wausau. Rev. Canon Olivier Meney will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the church, where the rosary will be recited during the visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Seminarians fund for the Institute of Christ the King Sorereign Priest or the Institute of St. Joseph.
The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Aspirus Wausau Hospital and Rennes Rehab for the wonderful care given to Anthony. Special thanks to all the area restaurants where Anthony made so many good friends and was received so graciously.
