Annabelle K. Grubb

Annabelle "Annie" K. Grubb 74, Wausau, died Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at Aspirus Hospice House, Wausau. She was born July 30, 1935 in Milwaukee, daughter of the late Joseph and Dora (Ramthun) Powell. On December 10, 1955, she married Harold Grubb in Milwaukee. He survives. Annabelle worked for Sears Roebuck Co., Wausau, as a customer service manager for 28 years until her retirement. Among her favorite pastimes, she enjoyed making crafts, baking, trips to the casino and spending summers up at Lake Superior with her family and friends. Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Harold Grubb, Wausau; four children, Mark (Linda) Grubb, Woodruff, Virginia "Gin" (Jim) Cihlar, Wausau, Wayne (Kelly) Grubb, Merrill and Dawn (Len) Thorwaldson, Wausau; 13 grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; two sisters, Marian Tuscany, Milwaukee and Evelyn (Larry) Kriedler, Waukesha; and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandson, Christopher Grubb; one great granddaughter, Cecelia Grubb; one brother, Joseph Powell; and two sisters, Helen Sanders and Irene Roskoph. Memorial services will be at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, May 6, 2010 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Wausau. Rev. John Meachen will officiate. Friends may call Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until time of services at the church. Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Friday at Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau.
