Anna R. Streveler
93, 2201 Brookfield Road, Edgar, died Friday May 6, 2005 at Continental Manor, Abbottsford.
She was born June 21, 1911 in the town of Cassel, daughter of the late Henry and Mary (Hein) Osterbrink. On July 3, 1934, she married Mike Streveler in Marathon. He preceded her in death October 1, 1973.
Anna was a homemaker and enjoyed playing cards, traveling and was an avid bowler. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Halder and their Parish Council of Catholic Women.
Survivors include a daughter, Joyce (Gerald) Athmann, South St. Paul, Minn., and their children, Kenneth (Jen) Athmann and Anne (Matthew) Manz; four sons, Earl (Violet) Streveler, Edgar and their children, Betty (Gary) Urmanski, Bruce (Jackie) Streveler, Brian (Sara) Streveler and Kevin (Vicki) Streveler; Father Robert Streveler, Black River Falls; James (Carol) Streveler, Brule, and their children, Ann (Mark) Kedrowski, Becky (Jeff) Holter, Michael, Jeffrey, Paul and Mark Streveler; Raymond (fiance', Julie) Streveler, Edgar and his sons, Gary, Greg and Chad Streveler; 17 great grandchildren.
Besides her parents and husband, Anna was preceded in death by five brothers and four sisters.
The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday May 10, 2005 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Halder. Rev. Robert Streveler and Rev. Barnabas Kyea will preside. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call on Monday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Edgar and again on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church. There will be a parish rosary 7:00 p.m. Monday evening at the Edgar funeral home.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established.
