Anna H. Nimz

Anna H. Nimz 82, Wausau, died Monday, October 2, 2006 under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born October 18, 1923 in Wausau, daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Marquardt) Nikolai. On October 27, 1945 she married Elmer Nimz in Wausau. He preceded her in death December 2, 2000. Anna was a homemaker and enjoyed flower gardening, crafting, fishing up at the cottage on North Two Lake and spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include four daughters, Cheryl (Mike) Akey, Arbor Vitae, Cindy (Larry) Abraham, Wausau, Cathy (Rev. Mike) Duncan, Fort Atkinson, Connie (Dwayne) King, Ringle, 14 grandchildren, five great grandchildren, one sister, Josephine (Ray) Myszka, Wausau, three brothers, Tony (Loriena) Nikolai, Weston, Jerry (Reggie) Nikolai, Mosinee, Lawrence (Gail) Nikolai, Wausau, three sisters-in-law, Florence Nikolai, Mosinee, Dorothy Nikolai, Merrill, Mary Jane Nikolai, Wausau and brother-in-law, Leroy Carlson, Wausau. Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by three brothers, Johnny, Edward, Jimmy Nikolai, two sisters, Aggie Carlson and Mary Jaecks. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 5, 2006 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wausau. The Rev. William Grevatch will preside. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Thursday from noon until the time of services at church.
