Anna C. Muelling
66, Marathon, died Thursday, January 21, 2010 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
She was born August 12, 1943 in Phillips, daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Puskarich) Korab. On October 5, 1963, she married William Muelling in Phillips. He survives.
Anna retired from Graphic Packaging, Wausau, just three weeks ago. Among her many interests, she enjoyed crocheting, camping and taking walks. She loved cooking big dinners and spending time with her family. Anna also made many quilts for Warm up America at the United Methodist Church, Mosinee.
Survivors include, her husband of 46 years, William Muelling, town of Marathon; two children, Ken (Nicole Wentworth) Muelling, Mosinee and Deb (Dan) Schumacher, Marathon; six grandchildren, Britney and Wil Muelling, Heather, Matthew, Kristen and Aaron Schumacher; one sister, Mary Janicek, Phillips; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by five sisters, Helen Trapp, Dorothy Graveen, Emily Semande, Elizabeth Jacobson and Kathy Hofmann.
The funeral mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 25, 2010 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, town of Cassel. Rev. Barnabas Kyea will preside. Friends may call Sunday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Marathon and again Monday from Noon until time of services at the church.
