Anita L. Mueller

Anita L. Mueller, 91, town of Easton, died Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born September 20, 1925 in the town of Easton, daughter of the late Emil and Olga (Kieckhaver) Rick. On June 8, 1946, she married Warren G. Mueller at St. John Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death on November 14, 2001. Anita and Warren lived and worked on the farm in the town of Easton their entire lives. Anita was a member of the St. John Ladies Aid and the town of Easton Homemaker's Club. Among her favorite pastimes, she enjoyed volunteering at Bethesda Thrift Store and playing cards. Survivors include, three children, Lois Mueller, Madison, Karen (James) Crone, Bel Air, Maryland and Nancy (Kevin) Thorson, Wausau; and three grandchildren, Michael Crone, Matthew (Sarah) Crone and Nicholas Thorson. Besides her parents and husband, Warren, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Willard and Delbert Rick. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at St. John Lutheran Church, E10723 County Road Z, town of Easton. Vicar John Stransky will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the church. Memorials may be directed to St. John Lutheran Church.
