Angeline Benson

Angeline "Ma" Benson 74, 210 N. 7th Ave., Wausau, died Sunday, April 4, 2004 under the care of Comfort Care & Hospice Services at her home. She was born August 13, 1929 in Illinois, daughter of the late Philip and Rosalia Terranova. Angeline was a ticker taker at the Wausau Labor Temple for various functions. She enjoyed listening and dancing to and was a member of the North Central Polka Club. Besides going to flee markets and rummage sales, Angeline enjoyed being around children. Survivors include two sons, Phil (Lori) Benson, Bardwell, Kentucky and Jack Benson, Wausau; five grandchildren; one great grandson; special friend, Norbert Schmirler, Wausau. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Ricky Benson. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 7, 2004 at the Church of St. Anne, Wausau. Rev. Steven Brice will preside. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and again from 10:00 a.m. Wednesday all at the Church of St. Anne. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Angeline's name. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau assisted family with arrangements.
