Andrew "Andy" C. Harris

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Andrew “Andy” Clark Harris, age 35, on April 26, 2025.

A beloved son, friend, and free spirit, Andy brought joy and laughter into every room he entered. Born and raised in Wisconsin, Andy later moved to Boulder, Colorado, where he embraced his love for the outdoors. Whether hiking scenic trails or simply exploring nature, his loyal dog Charlie was always by his side.

Andy’s passion for food and creativity led him to a fulfilling career as a chef. He honed his craft at a popular steakhouse in Colorado, impressing patrons not just with his culinary talent, but with his infectious charm. After returning to Wisconsin, he continued his journey in the kitchen at the Tine and Cellar, where he made lasting connections and continued to pursue what he loved.

Outside of work, Andy’s heart beat for music. He loved playing the drums, watching sports — especially his beloved Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers — and, most of all, spending time with family and friends. Andy had a unique gift for making people laugh, often cracking jokes and lighting up even the darkest days.

He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him, and remembered for his warmth, humor, and adventurous spirit.

Survivors include his father, Chuck Harris, Marion, his brother, Bryan (Rebecca) Harris, Menasha, his sisters, Johanna (Ben Sexton) Harris, Stevens Point and Stephanie (Jeff) Stone, Arizona, three nieces, Cece Stone, Natasha and Kaylee Harris and a nephew, Eli Harris, as well as several Aunts, Uncles and cousins.

Besides his mother Jodi he was preceded in death by a cousin, Maisi Schrauth.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 4, 2025 from Noon until 3:00 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.petersonkraemer.com
