He was born September 26, 1934, in Athens, son of the late Rudolph and Helen (Weiler) Schreiner. On June 21, 1955, he married Luella Janke at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Athens, and, together, raised eleven children and farmed in the Town of Bern.

For 43 years, Andy served as secretary and treasurer for Equity Livestock and was a dedicated member of the St. Anthony Church Choir.
Among his favorite pastimes, he enjoyed bowling, hunting, snowmobiling, camping, and polka dancing, and took first place in the state for tractor driving. He loved taking a drive in his car, traveling with family to Europe and Alaska and spending days helping others, plowing snow, mowing their lawns and any task needing to be done.
He loved spending time with his family and having them all over the holidays. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his wife, Luella; ten children, Lynnette (Martin) Malovrh, Sharon (Norman) Beran, Marianne (Dale) Literski, Mark Schreiner, Joseph (Cheryl) Schreiner, John (Lisa) Schreiner, Michael (Tina) Schreiner, Nicholas Schreiner, Janet (Orv) Wickman, and Richard (Maxine) Schreiner; daughter-in-law Janice Schreiner; 43 grandchildren; 75 great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; two sisters Ceil Bartelt and Gloria Brodziski; one sister-in-law Dolly Schreiner; and many nieces and nephews.
