Amanda M. Boeger

Amanda M. (Hargraves) Boeger 93, Stratford, died Monday, June 7, 2010 at St. Joseph Hospital, Marshfield. She was born July 22, 1916 in Rib Lake, daughter of the late Ernest and Martha (Klempke) Hein. On January 1, 1937 she married Edmund Hargraves. He preceded her in death on January 29, 1949. On August 1, 1955 she married Verald Boeger. They lived in the town of Johnson until their move to Stratford area where Verald currently resides. Her greatest joys in life were her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Verald, Stratford; seven children, Janice (Bob) Parmer, Eau Claire, Bud (Sandy) Hargraves, Mosinee, Martha Fremming, Wausau, James Hargraves, Wauwatosa, Jerry (Carol) Hargraves, Marathon, Clayton (Sherri) Boeger, Athens, and Jaqueline (Rick) Hubbell, Stratford; 20 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; and one sister, Melba Halverson, Marshfield. Besides her parents and first husband, Edmund, she was preceded in death by a son, Dwight Boeger; son-in-law, Bill Fremming; daughter-in-law, Peggy Hargraves; and grandson, Ehren. Private family services were held. The Rev. Kenneth A. Dix officiated. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Athens, is in charge of arrangements.
