Alvina M. Fons

Alvina M. Fons, 95, died Friday, October 30, 2015 at Mount View Care Center, Wausau. She was born October 29, 1920 in Hatley, daughter of the late Joseph and Clara (Novake) Miller. On October 18, 1939 she married Edward Fons at St. Florian Catholic Church, Hatley. He preceded her in death on February 13, 2001. Alvina spent her lifetime working on the farm and being a homemaker. Survivors include her sisters, Leone Zadel, Margaret Storey and Jenny Miller; brother, Daniel Miller; and half-sister, Liela Marquard The funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, town of Cassel. Rev. Felix Tigory will preside. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services all at the church.
